Very cute little monster that’s very quick to knit. Entirely knit in the round with the antenna sewn on using the cast on tail. Yay for minimal finishing! This little guy measures 8.5″ tall including his antenna. He’ll be given to the 2 year old youngest brother of the twins-to-be. I hope he’ll like him!
I also obtained some yummy yarn from Jen and can’t wait to cast on for a pretty pair of socks!

In real-life news here’s a little update on my oldest son… His fever was still spiking today (6 days now!) so I took him back to the doc who ordered a chest x-ray. The x-ray showed that my poor guy has pneumonia! He’ll be missing most or all of this week at school and probably won’t be playing soccer for a while.
At least he’s got some medication that’ll (hopefully) help him start feeling better soon! I keep thanking my lucky stars that he was still feverish or I might not have taken him back to the doctor. Phew!
Hope you had a great weekend and an even better week.

That monster is seriously awesome! I know I have some leftover acrylyuck around here somewhere. I’m thinking a purple-people-eater.
Hope your son starts feeling better soon. Knowing what is wrong usually is half the battle. Yeah, for the bodies own early warning system for letting you know something was still wrong.
Pneumonia?! Oh no! I hope he’s better soon!
I also love the monster, so adorable!!!
Lots of well wishes for your son!!!
Cute Monster!!
What a cute one eyed monster. I do hope your son gets better soon. My sister had pnemonia quite badly one year and it took quite a while to get over. Lots and lots of rest.
Poor guy! I’m sorry to hear he’s sick. I guess you’ll be knitting him a toy next!
I love the monster. He is cute-I could see him with a bunch of friends.
Hope the pnemonia passes soon and he is back on his feet, enjoying spring and being a kid!
Such a cute, I mean scaarrryyy monster!
I hope your little guy feels better soon!
