It fits! It fits! It finally fits!
Thank you Elizabeth Zimmermann! You’re a genius!
Pattern: Ganomy Hat from Knitter’s Almanac
Yarn: Moda Dea Washable Wool in Plum, ~.75 ball
Needles: Size 8 (5.00mm)
Started October 28 and Finished today, Oct 30… would have been sooner if I could have found the right size dpns!
I love this pattern and will definitely make more, soon, since my oldest son requested one to match his winter coat. The yarn is pretty cool, very smooshy and comfy, but way overpriced in my opinion. I was lucky to find it at Joann where I could use the 40% coupon because I’m cheap frugal with my knitting funds.
Thanks for all the votes of confidence, they certainly helped.

Hooray! I’ve knit 2 hats for my husband and neither have turned out. I’m hoping the third time’s a charm, just like you. On your coin cup from the previous post, it doesn’t look like your stitches are loose enough to felt very much. When I’ve felted I’ve always used big needles. Just a suggestion in case you decide to try again.

It is so cute! and the color is beautiful.
Now THAT is a cute hat!!
Wow! Thanks for the view of the back — I didn’t realize there was that line of stitches back there. This is a great hat for kids! And there’s nothing wrong with being frugal; I try very hard not to go overbard while still getting a lot of yarn!
How sweet! That is a cool hat! Yay for EZ!
(Scream!) It’s adorable! I love love love it! And your cute girl looks like the perfect recipient! YEAH. I LOVE EZ!
Congrats!
